Seth Beattie serves as CPAC program manager, where he oversees implementation of CPAC’s programs and services, including Creative Compass and the Creative Workforce Fellowship. He was also charged with the development and design of the From Rust Belt to Artist Belt conference series. Beattie was the recipient of a 2008 – 2009 Robert Bosch Fellowship, an award that allowed him to work in Germany for a year, addressing social inclusion efforts for the European Capital of Culture, providing support research to Hofmann von Sell for a proposed film school in Kampala and analyzing cultural development strategies in deindustrializing cities. Previously, he served as a CPAC program associate, a graduate assistant in workforce and global development, a communications associate at a nature center and a parliamentary aide for a member of Canadian Parliament. Beattie received his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Public Relations from Franklin College and his Master’s of Public Administration from the Levin College of Urban Affairs at Cleveland State University .
